I discovered the gift of Patty when I had a tendon tear that turned into a frozen shoulder (less than 20” rotation). I had been locked in deep pain for months. The Duke Sports Med doctor said it was one of worst ones they had seen. Another doctor suggested surgery and the second opinion supported my working with Patty. What a miracle! Patty is extraordinarily skilled, intuitive about one’s body, and diligent in her orthopedic massage work. She helped me laugh through the pain and gave me hope. It has been 3 years, I am doing yoga, and my shoulder stands as demonstration to my recovery. Patty continues to keep me in shape.”

-Karen Boylston, Ph.D.

"Amazing! On her game. Patty travels to practice with the best in the world to stay at the top of her technique. I went to Patty with plantar fasciitis in 2007. I had tried everything from the foot doctors. After only 3 sessions with Patty, it was gone completely; no more pain when I walked. The work is intense and Patty knows exactly what she is doing. It is now 5 years later and my feet are still great."

-Lauren Rivers, Rivers Agency

"My primary care doctor referred me to Patty several years ago for treatment of chronic joint pain. Patty has remedied that pain, and transformed my posture and physical attitude. Patty is a warm, dedicated, very knowledgeable professional, and I don’t know anyone who is more compassionate."

-Lynn York

"Patty has the most amazing talent for therapeutic myofascial therapy. My first visit to Patty came as a result of numerous injuries suffered during a ‘voluntary dismount’ off a runaway mustang. My shoulder pain was so intense I could hardly use my arm to drive to her office. The Urgent Care doctor told me I likely had torn my rotator cuff during the fall, but Patty did not feel the physical symptoms fit that diagnosis. She proceeded to find and release a deep muscle spasm beneath my scapula related to the fall. Every area of trauma received the same deep attention and I left there greatly improved and with full range of motion in my shoulder. Her diagnostic and therapeutic training along with her intuitive nature make her a gifted therapist."

-Sara Marion, Medical Professional

"Patty is an amazing body worker, and a truly caring person. The KMI work she has done with me has significantly changed my posture and the ease with which I use my body. As a professional horse trainer focusing on dressage, symmetry in my body is critical, as is being able to have strength while maintaining softness and fluidity in my body. This was something I had not been able to master prior to working with Patty. I had the strength, but was lacking the fluidity and symmetry. My body felt “clunky.” Now, thanks to Patty, I am able to ride and train with much less effort, and my horses are moving better because of it. Patty is one of those rare people who is incredibly passionate about her work and passionate about helping people feel better."

-Vanessa Craft, Owner/Trainer of Breezing Hill Farm

"Patty is simply wonderful. I came to see Patty after a year of discomfort in my lower back. I tried physical therapy, working out, and chiropractic, all of which were helpful, but none were as helpful as a session with Patty. In Patty’s words, I’m “better aligned from top to feet” after a session, and regular maintenance sessions keep the lower back pain away. And one bonus from a session with Patty that people may not realize – I’m taller when I leave!"

-Robin Langdon

"Ten years ago after two hip replacements and intolerable, debilitating pain I was depressed and wondered if relief was possible. Chiropractic and acupuncture only brought temporary relief. For 31 years I have struggled with the ravages of rheumatoid arthritis on my body and spirit. With Patty’s help I had immediate relief, my constant pain abated, my structure was more aligned, my strength and flexibility increased, my inflammation lessened considerably, and my outlook on life has dramatically changed.

Patty is a true healer and a giver. Her empathy is genuine and organic. She constantly ups her game by regularly gaining additional expertise and has an extensive knowledge of the human body. I heartily recommend her to anyone looking for a healthier and happier life."

-Chris Van Name

"Patty is a masterful healer who is extremely knowledgable about the human body, skillful in her technique, compassionate and caring. I have been going to her for years with persistent body pain and strain, and after each session I feel immediate relief and ease and can return to my life. I recommend her to all my family and friends, and know they have benefitted also. You will too!"

-Michele Rivest

“In my 40 plus years of medical practice I have finally met a clinician who embodies three essential qualities. These are an outstanding knowledge and skill set relating to their discipline,  a remarkable ability to relate to patients in a humane and caring way, and a constant effort to update skills and knowledge out of a sense of devotion to the patient’s well being. Patty is one of those rare individuals.

She has developed a profound and comprehensive understanding fascia and how fascial injuries cause pain and dysfunction. Patty is warm, caring, compassionate, and at times very funny. I feel privileged to be included in her practice. Consider yourself fortunate to be included in her very busy schedule.”

-Cliff H. Schilke, MD

“Patty has been a great help and healing force in my life.  Her work is carefully tailored to my needs, and she is in tune with the changes and challenges of body wellness.  Her practice is a friendly and welcoming environment.  She also studies her craft constantly with some of the best teachers in the world, which allows her to bring new ideas and healing techniques to our sessions.  I always feel better when I see her!”

-Jeff Chandler

“Patty is a joy to work with! My family doctor suggested that I see Patty to help me manage my degenerative disc disease and chronic lower back pain. From our very first session, Patty was able to evaluate my condition and apply the right techniques to alleviate my discomfort. Her extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology allow her to pinpoint the root causes of issues, and her continual zeal for learning and mastering varied techniques gives her an extensive tool kit for addressing problems. She has given me numerous tips for relieving discomfort and has helped me prevent flare-ups through increasing my awareness of alignment and posture. Not only is she an excellent practitioner, but Patty is also a kind, supportive, and interesting person. I always look forward to my sessions and walk out better aligned, more confident, and feeling inches taller!”

-Barry Smith

“Patty Pinto is highly skilled and trained in body work and has been my therapist for over 10 years.  During this time, Patty has treated my lower back, legs, and frozen shoulder. What I most like about Patty’s therapy is that it is a working relationship. I come to Patty with the attitude “let’s get to work” and we do it as a team. Patty uses her extensive knowledge and skills and I follow her instructions as she gets down to work gently and slowly loosening and stretching the facia surrounding all the muscles. What Patty does is not intended to be a relaxing massage, but rather a working session meant to improve flexibility and relieve pain by releasing or freeing bound-up muscles. I always come away feeling less tight and as a result, more relaxed.”

-Prudence Meyer

“Patty has provided exceptional physiotherapy and massage relief for my wife and me for the past few years. After my first visit, her treatments allowed me to stand straighter (height increased by at least half and inch) and walk much easier and virtually pain free. In addition to regular treatments, Patty gave us exercises and stretches to perform between sessions to add strength to key body parts and to relieve aches and pains as they developed.

Patty is very sensitive to her clients’ needs and applies a wide range of holistic techniques to improve their physical well being.”

-Dan and Kathy Kuntzman

“Patty is the best at what she does, hands down. I had been bothered by lower back pain all my life, and in only a handful of visits, Patty fixed it. She has a deep understanding of anatomy and she so quickly deciphered how tightness in one part of my body was creating pain in another. The bodywork she offered, targeting my specific issues, was positively life-changing. I cannot recommend Patty strongly enough!”

-Anne Clements

“Patty has an amazing talent for looking at your body and knowing how to get your body aligned. She's a truly caring and intuitive personality. The KMI has helped correct my posture and ease my shoulder pain. Her techniques are first-rate. I have recommended Patty to several friends. I always leave feeling taller and aligned.”

-Janet Gable

“Patty is a magician. Through her prodigious knowledge of anatomy and healing, she keeps my late 50s body together despite the fact that it is still trying to participate in far too many athletic endeavors. I've tried many different kinds of therapies to try to stay active, but Patty's ability to locate and solve pain and mobility issues is unmatched.”

-Eric S.

“Patty is an amazing therapist. She provided caring and pain-relieving therapy to me for many months prior to my decision to have hip replacement surgery in November of 2019. To be honest, I had avoided the recommended surgery, relying instead on injections and acupuncture prior to my first appointment with Patty.

Patty’s welcoming, warm, and caring approach immediately put me at ease. She raised my awareness of my posture and how I carried myself. She encouraged me to exercise between sessions and in time I built core strength that contributed to a quick recovery post-surgery. Patty is one of those special people who come into your life.  She is bright, funny, well-read, and committed to helping her clients.”

-Linda Vaughn

“I came to see Patty after a physical therapist suggested that I try Visceral Manipulation. I had never had any type of body work before I came to see Patty, but I found it quite helpful. My body was recovering from several spine surgeries, and I was stuck in a pain cycle. I tried regular massage and I would only see an improvement in soft tissue soreness and spasms for a couple hours. But with the body work, my pain decreased for days for days at a time. I’d also often leave Patty’s office feeling mentally rejuvenated.”

-April Wiblitzhouser

“Patty is extremely talented and knowledgeable, and has great insight into how the body works. She is also extraordinarily kind and supportive. She has helped me recover from hip surgery and chronic back pain when no amount of physical therapy, yoga, and massage therapy had helped me. I trust her judgment on health and well-being, and have learned a great deal from her. She even gives me helpful parenting advice! She’s one of my favorite people in the world.”

-Grainne Fitzsimons

“I have been seeing Patty for years. Whether it is my neck, shoulders, back, hip, or a combination, she finds the exact spots that need to be released. I leave with restored ability to do my daily activities and to exercise to keep my body healthy. She has a wealth of knowledge about stretching, natural healing, and nutrition, and she regularly attends workshops to further her comprehensive understanding of the way the human body works.”

-Kim Williams

“I am forever grateful for the work Patty has done for me over the past years. I no longer suffer from back, hand or arm pain due to the nature of my work, being on a computer all day. My posture is also better! It is amazing what she can do to fix your body. Patty's methods are so much better than your standard massage, as she works on your body as a whole with the parts that connect to the problem areas. I can't say enough good things about Patty and all that she has done for me. I feel better, have better posture, and no longer have the issues I had before coming to see her.”

-Tony DeLuca

“Patty has the innate ability to see and feel the much-needed bodywork adjustments that allow me to live free from pain and stiffness. She adapts modalities to meet my needs each session and I’m always surprised at how full her toolbox of resources is. I am so grateful for her kind and generous attention to detail as she helps my body realize harmony, wellness, and energy. I feel like I can have a more functional lifestyle, and I’m able to do more and feel better. As a horse trainer, I am more effective with the horses and people that I train. Her care and attention will exceed your expectations.”

-Ginger Long

“I have been a physical therapist for close to 20 years. Patty is who I see for all my musculoskeletal problems. She is a master at assessing musculoskeletal dysfunction and movement impairment syndromes. I feel like I have a new body after my sessions with Patty. Her knowledge about mind, body, and spirit interconnected is phenomenal. She incorporates the proper exercises needed to restore strength and flexibility. She is caring and has a big heart. I often refer my patients and friends to Patty. She is amazing!”
